Did this series get a proper ending? I know it got cancelled but I don't want to watch an incomplete series. Can anyone elaborate for me?

4 Episodes in and I'm hooked. The last sentences of Episode 4 had me literally saying "Yes please" if you have watched it. You'll get what I'm on about. Great show, I love it.
