I don’t know where to begin. Heartbreaking, tragic, dire? The book is hard to read and at times you feel like you can’t go on because you actually feel the grief the characters are feeling. The writing is emotive and captivating, almost seductive as it lures you in and breaks you word by word, piece by piece. You found yourself getting angry as you feel the main protagonist slipping deeper into his own anguish and there is nothing you can do about it. If you choose to read this book, good luck. It will stay with you for a long time.
