Mulan!!! I was so excited to know Mulan was out. The cinematographer was great, casting as great, and to have a female director tell a female story was logically the smart way to go. disappointment on how the story unfolds and the passion for the movie from the actors however was just not great. I think Black Panther put a good highlight for American movies that seek to portray an un-American culture and its acceptance opened doors for such movies as Mulan to stick to really being 'Chinese' rather than what America would like China to be. After all the awesome Chinese actors invested into the movie it's sad this ended up feeling like a "Chinese Corner" . I bet this would not be a blockbuster in China like it is supposed to be

As much as the director tries to fictionalise the story the truth about the inhumane, unnecessary hatred and envy of all victims from both parties is as clear. A person without morals fails to be a human being
