These glowing reviews of this movie must've been paid off considering how choppy and cliche it actually was. All the main characters are extremely frustrating because of their unrealistic stupid decisions. The divide in the Garrity family that is set in the beginning is nothing to care for and none of the other characters introduced create any meaningful emotions/attachments. I guess if you're looking for a movie that hits all the cliches and follows the same old overused shell of disaster films, then this is the perfect one to watch.
