A wild divergence from the original story, this being a more alternate version of events, which make Ramona the focus, so don't expect a one to one copy of the comics or the film, though the first episode does follow the opening act. The music by Sex Bo-Bomb is so good. The first couple episodes are crisp, sharp and clean, which leads me onto the only thing I didn't like about the series. The animation style from the 3rd episode onwards is dreadful. The characters are wavy, over animated and drunk most of the time. The floaty manner in which the characters move around and the none existent lip syncing really makes it a hard slog to get through. Which it a big bummer because it overshadows everything great about the series so far. Not that it's going to stop me watching, as Scott Pilgrim has been one of my favourite stories.
