Some miscreant elements in the society will always try to do opposite to what the Government would like to do. Many State Governments made the movie tax-free so that more & more people could watch this historical epic and become aware of the glory of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan but.... I have watched the movie myself on the silver screen and found it quite exciting. Samrat's bravery, his ideology and ethical values, his practice of calling public court, equality of men & women, giving shelter to the refugee, etc. are also well portrayed besides his battles with the foreign invader i.e. Mohammad Ghori. More importantly, this movie well describes how the reigns / power of our country went into foreign hands because of betrayal by our own people... But alas ! today we have many-many Jaichands in our country including the educated illiterates. The image of this movie has already got tarnished and collection drastically impacted due to highly negative views posted by some elements against this movie and little / non-interest of the modern generation in such patriotic movies. Otherwise overall it is a worth-watching movie (one time watch) though there seems to be some dramatization also in it. Anyone having respect for our patriotic heroes and warriors would surely like to watch it as a tribute to those legendaries 🇮🇳🇮🇳
