I was hesitant to see it initially— had read and taught the book, saw the movie with Whoopie. So sad…. So glad I saw it! Truly outstanding!! The best musical on screen I’ve seen in years, maybe ever! Fantasia does a fantastic job. Bravo! Standing O!!!

I thought it was an excellent, totally realistic story. The music is great. Best role Ben Affleck has played in ages. Loved the kid — young and old. A real surprise of a great movie. I highly recommend!!
