I’ve always been a fan of his, but even more so now. He takes us into his persons journey of life. He even highlights the not so positive moments. The fact that he had so much real footage made it real for the viewers. When his mom has passed and the clips of her pop up over and over- that really moved me. Much like memories, when someone dies you remember these small, but meaningful moments over and over. And the fact that his son narrated and sounded just like him. I remember hearing how Val was difficult to work with. But now I see, he was just calling directors out for the vibes they were putting onto the actors and staff for their unprofessional behavior. Not everyone is as brave to put the camera on them to show the world their temper tantrums. I wish this was more of a limited series because I want more.
