i loved it 'cuz the mother's reactions were all so believable- it's how i would've been. It was just as heartbreaking to see this kid (Ben) not know you anymore even though all this time all you've thought about is him. it was quite realistic. the only things i would've done differently are: 1- made ben come back to the biological family only when he was a bit older and wanted some connection with his biological family 2- do something about frikkin George and his complaints about how his wife wasn't a lunatic and how ben was his 'son'. Honestly, i've never seen so much audicity from another. If i was the mother i would've slapped him 3- whoopie goldberg becomimng their friend.. hmmm.. could happen i guess. it's good for the movie, just probably wouldnt have happened. other than that, i felt sad for the older brother Vincent. poor old kid was basically just ignored due to the tragedy. anywho, it was quite realistic otherwise. different than what i usually watch
