Film highlights the problem of knife crime in London today, Vue preventing it from being screened was a bad idea. The young actors were very good, rap man's score was spot-on for each scene. Of course there were some moments where I didn't really express interest, but that is nothing compared to the film in general. The film also documents the Real-life historic South London rivalries between the Ghetto Boys of New Cross and the Peckham Boys, during the mid 90's - mid/late 00's.
The film isn't as bad as other reviewers are saying, don't make the bad apples spoil the bunch, they say. Actually watch the film. The film was anything but cliché, anyone who thinks that hasn't seen, let alone been to South London. Me being born and raised in South London in the early-mid 90's would know more than an a film critic from West London who's probably never stepped foot across the London bridge. The film is compelling towards the young people of South London.
Rapman has already directed hits such as Shiro's Story 1, 2 and 3, Blue Story was his first theatrical release, and it was a good start.
