This morning I saw Frozen 2. It was heavy at times and it was full of traditional pagan symbolism. I'm glad I once saw an exhibition on indigenous tribes of Norway that was shown at Union Station and was put on by the Norwegian Embassy a few years back because I understood everything about this movie. (Yes, there are indigenous tribes in the Scandinavian Peninsula.) It was pretty good for adults yet safe enough for kids to watch. (There's one scene where a character dies but gets resurrected but that's about it for any upsetting scenes for kids. And, no, there are no lesbian romance scenes between Elsa and any other woman so if you were hoping for such a scene, you'll be disappointed.) If you're into pagan/nature spirituality, then you'll love this movie.
