I call it a "very appreciative, acquired taste" type of movie. An offbeat comedy with the haunting musical phrase by Carter Burwell, of what's to come. And the parody of the great artistic film directors as the sub plot/theme, I thought was tongue in cheek funny. Just watch and enjoy,
