Here's the best way to enjoy this movie: don't try to understand any part of the sci-fi gibberish--it's almost purposefully obtuse in this one--and instead focus on the emotional payoffs, which are by far the best of the series. I found it an incredibly satisfying ending for all my favorite characters, and unlike most of the previous movies, it actually left me hopeful about human nature. I loved this movie, and having watched it, I might go back to watch the prior entries (even the mostly terrible third one) to see the full emotional character arcs, because I think Thrice Upon a Time might actually make them better retroactively. Highly recommend this film!
