It’s ridiculous that we have a show like this (and many others both conservative and liberal) that can’t maintain a neutral dialogue when discussing issues. I just heard a lady on the show slam someone for not voting the way she did. Her reasoning for slamming this person was it would have made history. History or not- if someone doesn’t agree with another person’s views on politics then why would you vote for that person just to make history. As of right now America is still a free country and everyone can vote as they feel they need to so they can live by their values. Making history is great in some cases but to vote just because someone is a woman but doesn’t stand for your values is ludicrous. If you do that you’re letting others decide how you want to live. That is the whole purpose of voting - to see what the majority decides.
These ladies and many other people who sit around doing talk shows thinking they are more important in the cogs of political comings and goings need to go do mission work in a foreign country and see how others live in poverty etc. Their spouting hate and divisiveness in the name of news is not accomplishing anything other than to line their pockets and entertain people who haven’t been allowed to think for themselves. So sad that we as a
country place so much value on what Hollywood says on a subject and most in the Hollywood world have no concept of how the average American lives and most would not give up or sacrifice much to help others with so little. Throwing a few thousand dollars at a problem so you can feel good is better than nothing but surely not a sacrifice. We all need to be more like Jesus and meet people where they are and offer hope without belittling them. Pride comes before a fall and we in America are headed toward the cliff!
