I picked up this book in the middle of reading another book I had seen this one referenced in. Couldn't put it down, and ending up reading it in one sitting before I went back to the first book.
Gripping storytelling from begging to end this book has pertinent lessons, not least of them being that stories told by colonisers about indigenous peoples, will always have more to say about the narrator than the subject.
I would love to see this eventually adapted into a film, or even something less obvious like a stage musical.
