This not a movie it's a documentary and it is boring the hell out of me. I'm glad to watch it for educational purposes but. Now my blood brother text me all the way from Chicago telling me to watch the Black Godfather on Netflix. I'm in fast aggressive mode about to work on my own project, but because this is my blood brother from childhood (we took a oath to be brothers) I stopped all that I was doing signed up for Netflix. I'm thinking this some gangster movie that can't be missed. First thing I notice is that it is a documentary. Once I started watching, I see my brother written all over this documentary, meaning certain things right at the beginning (because I know my brother) I knew touched his soul. In truth he wanted to share apart of himself with me of the distant past. For me It reminded me of those public television programs where a talk show host was trying to sell 60's and 70's albums. Of course the Black Godfather documentary wasn't trying to sell anything I do plan to pause it and finish on a day I fell like watching a documentary. There are hundreds of documentary programs out there, some on Elvis, some on Art Kelly others on how the west was one. You can pick your choice. I will learn from this one of course....In this case the timing was not right for me, thanks to the love of my blood brother.
