Pea Playfoot

A very modern look on the 80s with generic music and pop references spanning a decade before the setting of the movies, with references and sound track dating as far back as the late seventies. I guess It is marred by the fact I lived through the 80s. The toxic female school friends vibe is spot on,the idea of a possessed girl using this as a medium to cause harm is a fun one. As is the necessity to set it within the back drop of a Christian school. The parody of the power team was a fun and less used choice set in the time of Tammy faye and other more prominent evangelists. However the plot seems fun, simple and an easy to digest tab (haha?) for an audience comparable to the lead girls and not a trip down memory lane.
