Low budget, amateur, and juvenile plot, poor writing and acting. Hope these actors and producers eventually get roles that will redeem them in the industry. Lots of time wasted in simplistic scenes. Definitely not worth yours.

The story was so current and yet oddly aloof since the characters, although dynamic, were often shallow and two dimensional. There was a constant morbidity throughout the experiences of all the focused upon guests; but a sophistication of enlightenment presents intermittently and realistically. Many traditional themes are incorporated here. Everyone goes to hell with themselves with self-indulgences of pleasure or anger. Insecurities and disappointments are rampant and the characters work hard to camouflage them and work around them. The direction, acting and casting were impeccable. I couldn't get enough of Natasha Rothwell - she owned her role (they all did.) I recommended the series early on to two very different friends and neither could tolerate it and found it off putting. I saw it through even though it was depressing at times - and found the whole work quite phenomenal. It was pain that had to be endured in order to seek the reward of growth and self-acceptance.

Totally lame and unbelievable plot. Just an opportunity to make use of aged actors portraying simplistic, cliched, undeveloped and inarticulate characters. Definitely not worth watching to conclusion.

Only half way through, but enjoying the subtlety, simplicity and refined natural behaviors of all the characters. Being on a trans-Atlantic cruise during Covid is a joy. The slow development of the relationships is rewarding in that everyone is given some unseen fulfillment in their otherwise dreary lives.

Don't waste one minute of your time. Adolescent and lame plot - Totally disappointing.

Slow as a sloth, dragged along by a 3 note loop score that is totally uninspired. The actors and the characters are not believable. There is no energy, and a perfunctory and formulaic story line. Ben Afleck's character is depressed and self-destructive. I believe he gave this role what it was due, but unless you want 2020 to be any more miserable than it has already been to date, you don't need to watch this.This is a very low budget movie that is a reincarnation of a host of other unmemorable "I finally got my S---t together after I hit rock bottom movies."

Initially I thought I might get a few absurd laughs out of this series, but I am just too old to relate to the humor, the concept, the cast of pathetic characters and the grotesque experiences of these adolescents. Molly Shannon is a familiar face and I like her "over the top" performances, and the "Justin Bieber" Look-a-like "Chase Dubek" character is not an atrocity, as is his manager. Oh well, Lorne Michaels has his executive producer monogram on this, so the SNL writers (who can't) are spinning the dialogue.

Toni Collette is an outstanding actress. She owns her generally eccentric roles. Unfortunately, I can't bare to continue watching her torture and the bizarre personality disorders of her family. There are sparks of interest, but the plot is too slow moving and grotesque - so I've had enough at about one third through this movie.
