Besides the pedo aspects which means nothing much because it’s the 1900 and the woman playing Gigi was 25 at the time so who cares the movie is that classic Old Hollywood vibes amazing costumes and singing however my biggest problem is the editing of the whole move it’s very awkward! So weird especially for such a high production at the time from its random jump cuts to its extended pauses of silence in scenes and abrupt halt of music mid note it’s so strange??? Like I don’t understand how this could fly past production it’s very my first day on the job quality compared to everything els in the movie? I’m watching it on Netflix so maybe it’s different on multiple streaming and or DVD types??? I’m thinking about making a drinking game out of it because that’s how Frequent these mistakes happen. You’ll be watching and a hard cut happens then characters are in different positions still talking about the same thing with different props in hand there’s no seamless transition???
