This quick read illustrates the necessity of being in control of one's financial future. Throughout the book Mike Berg shares stories of well known successful figures and the simple principles that helped them achieve great accomplishments, and often, how they changed the the world. The "locus of control" is a common theme throughout the book, detailing over and over again how we can only control how we react to situations in order to influence the outcome of our lives, and where those focal points of control can dwell. There is a lot of positive mindset reconstruction, showing the journey of someone transforming from a scarcity/fear based mindset to a growth/abundance mindset. The author encourages creating multiple streams of incomes based off of one's value in multiple arena's. The job market is changing, and with the rapid pace of technological evolution, those who rely on an employer to provide security are relying on an archaic system that has come and is soon to be gone. Mike Berg shows how we can change our focus from 'searching for a job' to 'searching for customers'. By shifting our focus, we are able to create multiple streams of income that will provide shelter from various economic storms.
