John Rogers (The Top 25 Guy)

Just got home after watching The Rise of Skywalker and wanted to revisit the reviews. After watching the film I'm a satisfied Star Wars fan! DEFINITELY better than the prequels. While A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi are the endearing fan favorites this film feels like the original three albeit with a slightly messy last 1/2 hour(the battle scene). It does wrap up nicely and properly says goodbye which I think was necessary. There is lots of tense action and concerning happenings abound. The force is stronger than ever in this film. The droids including C3PO are terrific and help carry the film! I found it to be very emotional and funny at times which proved to me that it checked my Star Wars boxes. Don't listen to some of the worst "Star Wars movie ever" reviews. It's just not true. 4 solid stars.
