i watched the entire SOA series, That said, Mayans M.C. is a much stronger option. Edward James Olmos is a fantastic, believable character. The chapter as a whole are more believable than SOA, as almost all story lines were based around Charlie Hunnam's character. In Mayans, it doesn't solely revolve around one story line. One story line is intertwined with countless perspectives and other characters. I can't wait for the next season, which is something i never really said about SOA.

It's rather surprising to read almost all the reviews of a negative capacity, based on the show being factually inaccurate. As virtually no-one used the books by Stephen Hunter as source material and used the film Shooter as this series humble beginnings. This series is excellent. Having read all the books, it's extremely satisfying to see how they'd skipped Vietnam as the generation of Bob Lee Swagger, and used Afghanistan as the more recent conflict. Seeing Agent Memphis as a lead female roles was a clever touch too. I did enjoy this series. It was a shame it was finished, as the books provided ample manoeuvrability to continue an excellent series.

Personally I thought it was as good as Dead Man's Shoes. Terrific cast and well scripted. The main character is believable throughout. The films culmination is surprisingly terrifying. Maskill's character shines as the loving father/violent enforcer.
