Such a heavy and important topic so unnecessarily mixed with way too many scenes of throwing up, by nearly every character in the show, way too many illnesses of, again, almost everyone around, and the plot of Kate's interest in Michael is just so pointless and puzzling. Most of that put in the show for no reason, a poor quality distraction from what the story is really about. Kate's tantrums are forgivable (and great acting by the way), for what trauma can cause in one's behavior is not portrayed enough in full spectrum. Her character is definitely an interesting one. I would love to give the show a higher rating, but those distractions mentioned earlier don't let it be more than 3/5.
