If you thought the first movie was bad, this is ten times worse. Waste of time and money. Not even worth watching for free

The first two episodes were mediocre, nothing terrible, but nothing really to recommend either. Just your average, run of the mill science fiction, albeit with a bigger budget. But the third episode was truly terrible from top to bottom. Horrendous writing, acting, production design, etc. Everything looked cheap, the plot didn't reveal anything, and the introduction to the world of the force witches was duller than any other depiction of nightsisters or fallanassi in prior cartoons or books. I couldn't believe how boring it was. Now all the terrible reviews make sense. It really deserves a ZERO

Four episodes in, this series has been underwhelming and disappointing. Poor production values, just a cheap looking TV show that can’t hold a candle to the films. The characters are written very simplistically, and frequently behave in bewildering, dumb ways. Disney Star Wars is more for kids than adults, which is a shame. It should be for everyone, like the original films were.

In a nutshell, it’s a mediocre adaptation that doesn’t come close to capturing the magic of the comics. It’s dull, slow and weirdly quotidian. The CGI looks expensive but outdated. Casting is very weird. That said, I can imagine a lot of fans of the comicbook saying it’s good because it mostly follows what happens in the comics beat for beat. I think those fans are just lying to themselves. It’s so obvious that it doesn’t work, but that’s okay. This show will be forgotten but the comics will last forever

I didn’t want to believe it but the reviews are right. This is another played out, shock value approach to a beloved franchise that places heavy emphasis on trying to be clever with twists and surprises at all costs, and frequently at the expense of what people want to see. It probably thinks it is doing Dark Knight Returns but ends up doing The Last Jedi, with your favorite characters looking beaten and defeated, and shunted to the side in favor of supporting characters fans care less about. Dreadful misfire

They borrowed the names of the characters, places, and terminology but changed almost everything else including the tone, sensibility and plot. As a fantasy show, it is run of the mill and as an adaptation of a beloved series of books, it is abysmal

One of the most overrated shows on the air. This show is a sitcom like Veep posing as a prestige drama. The premise gets tiring quickly, and over four seasons, none of the characters develop, grow or change at all. If would be mildly entertaining if it actually was a sitcom but it isn't, and so you just get diminishing returns.
