A rating of 3 is just about where this movie should be. Margot Robbie is always a joy to watch... Ryan Gosling more than held up his side of the equation... The supporting cast was pleasing ... Set design and costuming we're Spot on... Both the open and closing scenes were well done and chuckle worthy... And although I have no problems with painting a feminist point of view, (most of which I concur with) -- I felt that this particular film got a little too preachy about it... Some of the seemingly endless dialogue lost some of the film's charm and humor. And as tempted as I might be to recommend this film, it will only be with a supplemental word of caution... Be prepared fidget in your seat a little during the lengthy monologues.
