They appearance of Japanese culture but filled with good ol' western misandry. The writing, animation, character development, and pacing were great. Just an overdose of all men being buffoons, evil, sex-starved, or in some way despising of a "strong woman". That point was made abundantly clear over, and over again. No balance or nuance... not really my cup of tea, and after a while I just needed to taste something different. But give it a try... different strokes for different folks.
