Totally impressed by the virtuoso technique and the personal story in this film.
However, as an actor, I have to discourage this kind of director-strong films which encourages a breed if directors who think that one could make a great film without great actors.
No offenses to the cast who INHABITED the characters perfectly, but they weren't acting.
The said kind of directors would then undermine the artistic input from actors in shaping a film. They would sometimes put actors in potentially dangerous situations, e.g. the kids in the beach scene. Those poor kids!
