Oppenheimer was a 3-hour experience that was awesome and very well directed and written. I appreciate how Christopher Nolan took the time to research more about J. Robert Oppenheimer and the importance of the atomic bomb. The cinematography was stellar, the back-and-forth between color and black and white was a genius move. In addition, the small particles of light to represent the atomic bomb going off was definitely an awesome move on Nolan's part.
The casting director did a phenomeonal job with picking the actors and actresses. Cillian Murphy was the perfect choice for Dr. Oppenheimer, Emily Blunt was great as Kitty, the same goes to Matt Damon and Florence Pugh. Of course, Robert Downey Jr. was fantastic as Lewis Strauss.
Despite all the concerns and controversy about this film, it did a fantastic job in teaching the audience the importance and the dangers of using nuclear weapons and how urgent it is to contain these weapons.
Definitely recommend seeing this movie, 10/10!
