Too long the boat parade and the TV production obviously not prepared for a rainy day. Many of the acts running in parallel with the boat parade were not enough put on the spotlight and I felt sorry for those out there in the rain putting their soul in an act which was badly broadcasted. Hoisting the olimpic flag upside down is to laugh on tears and marked a memorable milestone in the history of the olimpic games. Celine Dion was as always a highlight but so far placed on the first level of the tower that those spectators present there could not see her directly (obviously she could not see much either). The choice of song for her I think was one of the best ideas in all the olimpic program but that’s just a drop in a big pot where not many things were or worked good. They could have done much better. Overall it was a disappointing event.
