It's a poor adaptation of a great book series. The show has poor writing, directing, costuming, lightning, and set design. The acting is passable and the actors seem to be doing what they can with the bad material they're given. There are so many fake out deaths and plot changes that don't seem to make sense when telling the story. The first mistake being the making of the mystery of who the Dragon Reborn is. The books make it clear from the beginning who the main character is. They made the main characters older but they still have some of the same mentality of the children from the books. The world building is inconsistent and is some cases in direct conflict with what Robert Jordan created. The original book series is very much a feminist book in the true sense that the women are powerful in their own way without the need to tear down the men around them. The overarching theme of the story is that men and women need to work together. The show runner seems to miss this and decided to go the misandrist route of making the men useless. I don't think it's worth anyone time to watch this show and would highly encourage people to read the books instead. This showrunner should have never been given this project and it definitely shouldn't be done in a live action format. The book series is too long and the fantastical elements are too expensive to do properly.
