I watched the original series and enjoyed it, so decided to watch the new series. I really enjoy the show and look forward to it each week. I watch it with my kids who never saw the old series. They enjoy the new series as well. They like representation in the show, the plot, and the interactions between the characters. Also the references to the old series are enjoyable and make you aware this is not a reboot but a continuation of the show. It is easy for new watchers to follow.
