Where do I begin. I believe this is Denis' magnum opus and a project which is the culmination of nearly 10 years ideas in the making - executed to perfection. As an avid Dune fan who has read the majority of the books, this was the adaptation I was longing for as a sequel to the first film which was also excellent. From the story, to the visually stunning cinematography, to the flawless acting performances, namely Timothee Chalamet, Austin Butler and Zendaya, along with all the other supporting actors. Certainly the best sci fi film I've ever watched and without a doubt the most enthralling cinematic experience ever - the scenes weren't just shot they were crafted. Long Live The Fighters!

This film offers a great , gritty and noir perspective of Batman, couple with great acting and a brilliant plot this film deserves five stars. Also, shoutout to Robert Pattinson for his dark and powerful performance as Batman, one which some critics doubted prior to the films release. Looking forward to the second film, hopefully featuring Barry Keoghan as the Joker (sorry for the spoilers to those who haven’t watched it). Definitely the greatest DC film thus far in my opinion, it’s intriguing and eerie but marvellous nature makes it great to watch, albeit lasting nearly three hours. Despite this though, I was wide awake through the whole film due to the sheer aspects that made it great: amazing use of cinematography, a freakishly frightening villain, numerous iconic action scenes ( most notably the car chase between the Penguin and Batman) and a brilliant score and soundtrack, one that instills fear and encapsulates Batman: a Justice-ridden, unrelenting Hero.
