Angel Gillingham

Very impressed with this show! OG was on while I was in high school so I obviously loved it. But I think a lot of fans need to rewatch it and realize that it wasn’t a masterpiece of a show. The dialogue,plots,writing etc was often very cringy and questionable. It’s just nostalgic for so many of us. This version is not supposed to be the same as the OG. It’s supposed to be in the same universe as the OG,it’s not a remake. The mom’s friendship is supposed to be “similar” to the og girls. The moms are the “original sin”and that’s part of the mystery. The vibe is obviously completely different, so if you don’t like slasher type of shows/movie, you’re not going to like this. If you liked the feel good vibe of the og, you’re not going to like this. I think that was clear by the trailer that was released months ago. I understand not liking this genre, but it’s unfair to rate it low because you’re comparing every little thing to the og and you don’t like the vibe. Anyway, IF you like slasher type shows, give this one a chance!
