Disappointed. I felt that there were too many coincidences to make it believable. It was also over dramatized. The Charlie character was not even necessary. She was there only to bring in romance to a bleak landscape. I might have liked the book better without her dedicated search for a childhood friend who seemed to dominate her part of the story. I found this obsession too weird to make any sense.
