One of the best books I have ever read! This book was so well written, it was engaging, factually interesting, and a great story. I have traveled the Drake Passage in a tiny ice-breaker (it is now lying in the bottom of the sea near Antarctica) and the book accurately describes how brutal the sea is with 50 foot waves and unending roiling storms. What these men went through is phenomenal, and a miracle some men survived. It is also a story of a “mutiny that never was” by court adjudication - where justice was justly issued. I felt so sad when the book ended because there will never be another book like it.
