(CONTAINS SPOILERS) A female Dr Jekyll called Nina Jekyll it sounds like a load of rubbish doesn't it well not completely this film wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be the trailer didn't exactly wow me but I was still a little curious about watching this one despite being a modern day hammer film we do get some throwbacks to the early days of hammer with the films introduction when (Robert Stevenson) I saw what you did there is lying on the sofa flicking through the TV channels and stops at the original Plan 9 from Outer Space from (1959) Eddie Izzard is good at playing the good doctor and he's convincing somewhat as Hyde the scene where Robert is downstairs ease dropping on a conversation between Nina and Sandra Poole was interesting the door cracks open and Robert is forced to hide behind the nearby staircase there Nina who is revealed as Rachael Hyde walks out of the room and turns her attention fastly to a noise coming from the staircase where Rob in currently hiding this scene creeped me out a little and the music sets the tone nicely unfortunately the ending is terrible and they could of done things a lot! better but I'm glad I rented this just like other Jekyll and Hyde adaptations the story has been changed one of the biggest changes being instead of using a potion or a serum syringe the Doctor uses cigarettes to turn into the monster Nina is actually Dr Jekyll's daughter and we do get a black and white flashback to the original Dr Jekyll played by Johnathan Hyde this film takes a whole new different direction from anything else but I think some people will like this one.

Not bad not bad at all the book Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is mentioned in this series but it's just considered a fictional story however it becomes apparent that Dr Jekyll was a real person despite taking place during the modern day it does go back in time to the Victorian era which is nice the ending was fine but it would of been better if they went with the first indicated one which seemed more appropriate James Nesbitt is excellent as Hyde you can just tell he gave it all he had he's really convincing and a great actor bear this in mind Mr Hyde is incredibly strong in this one it may seem very farfetched but he's not meant to be a normal human being I'd give this a watch if you haven't seen it I wasn't disappointed 8/10.

I haven't finished the game yet but so far the game is scary enough to get the adrenaline and heart pumping the fear of keeping all the room lights on and making sure to hide in a small spot so Murder the Clown doesn't teleport behind you gives you that hard to explain feeling that only a horror game can provide the graphics and style is nice and I've always been a fan of a first person perspective.

Good movie Robert Englund always nice to see on screen plays John a former horror icon and drinker who's career is on the brink of it's downfall John travels with a group of young actors to a remote mansion in the woods to rehearse for a stage play production however there's a catch the play is cursed and everyone becomes insane resulting in them playing their characters for real which gives the movie a creepy, murderous and yet interesting plot.

I saw a poster for this at my local cinema looked okay I've seen Taika Waititi in (What We Do in the Shadows) so I had some interest in seeing this watched it recently on Disney+ a month ago I didn't go in with high or low expectations but for that I say I was surprised it's just a nice sporty good feel movie if that's what your into than this is for you it's kinda like the film (The Air Up There) starring Kevin Bacon but instead of basketball it's soccer or football.

This is not the Outlast experience I was expecting there's no campaign seriously NONE just trials you can play solo or team up you have to do the trials multiple times with higher difficulty each time in order to go on to the next level no thanks where's the immersive terrorfying single player experience it sure isn't here if your expecting that your going to be disappointed the (destroy your life) trial feels like the original games but after that it's all down hill from there Red Barrels took everything that made the previous games special and changed it completely wasn't even worth waiting years for.

Not a bad movie honestly Adam Sandler plays Jakub an astronaut who spends more time in space than he does with his pregnant wife who's back on planet earth missing him terribly there he encounters an giant extraterrestrial spider called Hanus who can talk and is very curious about Jakub and his mate (Lenka) the two of them conversate throughout the film which is when things get interesting it's quite a light-hearted movie in my opinion with good music that matches the scenes and tone of the film.
