I believe I’ve read everything Ron Rash has written, but his poetry. “The Caretaker” is an outstanding, beautifully-written novel, and the protagonist caretaker a complicated, deformed, heart warming, loving soul. Good luck, Naomi and Jacob and Annie Mae. And you too, Mr. Blackburn Gant.

Just finished it minutes ago. Thoughtful, compelling, powerful look at love. Tho I’m disappointed the protagonist chose the easy route, mildly surprising me.
