I've honestly been playing it almost nonstop since it's release. And I'll admit that it's one of my favorite farming sims and I feel is a good entry point into the Rune Factory series, making me want to go back and try some of the older titles. It does suffer from performance issues, especially when exiting buildings and the furniture placement is a bit weird, but if you can get past that, it's a really fun game with an interesting cast of characters, monsters to tame, items to craft, and a story that keeps me reeled in, despite the classic amnesiac start. The artwork for the character portraits are amazing and the animated cutscenes are well made, acting as a good way to portray and introduce the characters. And I can't leave out the music! Every piece of music I've heard so far has been, in my opinion, amazing and fits every moment and environment perfectly! It's honestly been a while since I've been this excited and enraptured by a game like this! I'm hoping there will be some updates to fix some of the aforementioned performance issues and awkward furniture placement, but, overall, I'm having a blast and am excited to see how they improve the series in the future!
