I admire the fact that Ms. Maddow stays away from showing/reporting on the "juicy market tabloid" of the chaos of Washington politics. I can see she is smart, incredibly educated and even though she is very liberal, she does not smear conservatives... if they don't deserve it. She is very entertaining when reading court transcripts.
