1883 is NO Yellowstone! Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are not on a par with the likes of Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser or Luke Grimes. I am not a reputable hollywood reporter but I do know what I personally think is a great series and what isn't. 1883 is not for me. The storyline, actors and writing skills in Yellowstone are superb. It never gets old or boring. 1883 not so much. Final thought, Kevin Costner assuredly deserves an Emmy for his performance in Yellowstone. I'm giving 1883 a two star review for effort.

Highly recommend that anyone who has not seen this series yet to watch it. It is one of the best 5-star entertaining experiences you'll ever have. Watched Yellowstone season 4 finale and consider it as a quintessential 5-star ending. Taylor Sheridan delivered in spades. It was a gift with everything I personally wished for wrapped up in a big bow. If you've learned anything about Taylor Sheridan he's full of surprise twists which makes him such a great writer. Sorry it was an anticlimactic experience for some but I was relieved we finally got a sense of justice, peace and hope for this family as transitory as it may be. So, for the ones who were looking for a cliffhanger have faith. There's much more to come. God, I love this series and this beautiful country 🇺🇸! Thank you, Taylor Sheridan, for the superb entertainment you provide to so many of us through your creative storytelling. God Bless you young man. You are an American Treasure.
