At first I was startled by the new things added to the plot - but on reflection, I decided that they were completely in keeping with what we know about Anne and her indomitable spirit. Every member of the cast is stellar (these are the best filmed versions of Diana, Gilbert, and Rachel Lynde that I've ever seen), and it's all gorgeously filmed. I adore this series!!
