Huge fan of classic Who, and that is why the 5 star rating. BUT I have stopped watching any modern Who .. well I did that from the last season of the Capaldi run actually. Every new Doctor takes some time to settle into the role, however I feel the powers that be maybe didn't give Jodie Whitaker any chance to develop. Those powers picked the wrong show runner, bad story editior and less than great story writters - and who chose those companions ?

A must watch for any child, this TV show did the most to provide a bridge between the once enemy Empire of Japan and the citizens of Australia. With "crash" close ups, stylized camera work, never seen before characters and wonderull atmospheric music The Samurai was an incredible ride to behold. This show may now get a giggle with the bad sink between actors mouth movements and the English dub, but The Samurai is far from a comedy as it is labelled here.
