Conclusion for closure: Cube-Don gets stung while squishing the bee. Don’s body goes into an anaphylactic shock. The cube is forced to exit the body. Just then Walsh beams aboard with Alex. In one swoop Walsh squishes the mini Cube and destroys it. Alex frees everyone. Don is given first aid and he recovers. Ozzie stumbles in from the cryo room, rejuvenated and thoroughly confused. On earth Jeff looks at Kurt’s body incredulously. Walsh locates the 2 and beams them aboard. They put Kurt in the cryochamber again for supposed rejuvenation. Walsh and Jeff discover that the reason the Mothership had not contacted them was that the mission and hence the invasion was canceled. Cube was just a rogue imposter taking advantage of the situation. Headless and missionless the aliens on earth decide to adopt earth as home. They all have grown accustomed to it and enjoy living here anyway. The starcrossed morphs into its new role of alien welfare and support organization. Gina is shown holding group therapy sessions for aliens. Everyone is happy. Last scene, a few months later Kurt arises from the cryo chamber, confused, with Jeff sheepishly hovering near his face.
