It is brilliant. Though I always thought it was a mistake to reveal the identity of Red John half way through season six. After that it kind of lost momentum and the last season was just a weak repeat of past hits. And the whole race to the airport, declare his love...ugh. cliche city. Must have been embarrassing for all concerned after so many years of brilliance. Especially since they were never even remotely romantic for so many years. Fell into the same hole as Twin Peaks. It just ran out of steam once the killer was revealed.Despite that, well worth watching, except for the final year.
