Another excellent read by Carolyn Weber. I first read her book "Surprised by Oxford" and was ecstatically, madly in love with it...could not put it down...I cried, laughed, sighed and marvelled at how closely it resembled my spiritual journey with all the bumps, ups and downs, and mess finally defining itself into clarity! I read the ebook then ordered the paperback so I could underline! Sex in the City of God is the same kind of delightful journey into marriage in all its reality...the good, the bad, and the beautiful!
It is as wonderfully written as the Oxford book...her love of words, literary nuance, and poetry, which she quotes, abounds!! I would recommend this as the perfect follow-up to Surprised by Oxford as it continues Carolyn's journey and growth as a Christian woman.

This was one of my all-time favourite films and the soundtrack is magnificent! It was a film that was an art form unto itself and sadly misunderstood and underappreciated in its time. There are those of us who will continue to treasure the memories of the experience.
