Worth watching but definitely a disappointment if you have watched the original GOT series. House of Dragons has atypical protagonist/antagonist which is the problem. In GOT, rarely was any side all good or all bad. It made you change who you were rooting for and you never knew who would die next. No lead was untouchable and it always kept you on the edge of your seat. House of Dragons is predictable and kind of linear in development. It still keeps true to what's visually expected and looks decent. Acting is certainly better than both the writing and directing. They make it work as well as possible bit to be honest, they weren't given much to work with. If you loved Game of Thrones and are looking for a fix, this is definitely not it.
