Excellent movie. Seems I have to start 10 movies before I find one good one. Some I lose interest in just three or four minutes, others I might hang in for a half hour before I chuck it. This has good writing, good acting, and good pacing. Black and white and audio quality are good. Probably worth 4 1/2.

I couldn't get through the first 10 minutes w Bob Dylan whining the times are a-changing grating on my ear.

Few movies hold my attention, but this one did. It got outlandish in a couple places when prisoners holding guns didn't turn them on their captors. Or they didn't put up more of a fight, but trivial objections on my part. Worth at least four stars, but I wouldn't give it five.
