The results from tonight's show is the final straw! I have been watching DWTS from the very beginning, and after the first two season, the they increased the public vote to command such a large portion of the decision, and it has gotten worse ever since. This is a DANCING show, not a POPULARITY show! The judges happen to know what they are talking about when it comes to rating the dances. In the past several seasons, even though they were eliminated in a strange order, the least best dancers seemed to get weeded out and the best dancers made it to the finals. Not this year! Clearly, Bobby Bones and Grocery Store Joe are not dancers (self admittedly)...they are super nice guys with great stories, but they are not dancers. They should never had made it this far in a dancing competition. One of the two best dancers for the season got sent home tonight - how ridiculous is that? The show needs to seriously revisit how the scoring is done. The public vote in no way should count for 50% of the score, no more than 25%. Also, I believe public voters should get ONE vote per night...period, whether by phone, email, twitter or whatever. Obviously someone is making money from all the call in / vote fees, and that is what is ruling the formula. Sad...
