As one who lived through the events covered in the series I looked forward to a show with focus and bite on 1980s Oz media matters. Sadly the series quickly descends into a soap opera with props such as the dinosaur who won't retire, the obligatory gay interest (can the ABC show anything without that), anguished families and office politics. One to miss.
