Before I start, let me just say that Cameron Diaz and Julia Roberts were absolutely stunning in this film. I actually found this movie quite tensing because of the events happening. The POV of the whole film was usually focused on Jules and I can see and understand why she was stressed which was also making me stressed. I watched the new recreated version of this. It was in Chinese I believe. The girl who was supposed to be married to the guy infuriated me. She kept getting on my nerves for some reason. In that movie, I wanted the bestfriend and the guy to be together. In this movie? Oh. My. Gosh. It's very hard not to like Kimmy in this film. She's just so light and friendly. She's like a puppy that follows Michel around with hearts on her eyes. In this movie, I actually wanted Kimmy and Michel to be together. I found out while analyzing the movie that Jules doesn't love Michel the way Kimmy does. Jules is not a soft, sentimental, care for your feelings girl. She has a very strong and dominating character. She isn't the type to submit to somebody. Sure she loves Michel, but not in that way. She's just feeling this possessiveness now that Michel might go away and things would never be the same between the two of them.
